Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist (CST) – OR CORE is responsible for providing exceptional support in surgical procedures by ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team. Located in Hartford, Connecticut, this position is onsite and focuses on maintaining the highest standards of medical and surgical care for patients while also prioritizing the well-being of the Surgical Technologists.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile field and ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and accessible.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to promote efficient patient care.
- Follow protocols to guarantee optimal safety and hygiene standards in the operating room.
Qualifications
- Must be certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or possess the ability to obtain certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA).
- Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to sterile field maintenance and surgical protocols.
