Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MedSurg RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work a day shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM, focusing on providing high-quality nursing care to medical and surgical patients. This role is vital in ensuring patients’ comfort, recovery, and overall well-being during their hospital stay.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and implement nursing interventions for post-operative and medical patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and execute individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical staff.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Assist in providing a safe and sterile environment in accordance with hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical-surgical environment is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare setting.
