Job Summary
The Project Biologist will be responsible for leading field operations on various ecological projects based in Walnut Creek, California. This role involves overseeing a team of biologists and field technicians, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant regulations and project requirements. The position may require occasional overnight travel as part of the project demands.
Responsibilities
- Lead field operations and serve as the primary point of contact for project teams.
- Support and guide Staff Biologists and Field Technicians in their tasks.
- Interpret and apply compliance documents, permits, and project scopes to ensure field activities meet legal and environmental standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project progress and compliance.
