Job Summary
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be focused on the development and implementation of engineering projects within a concentrate leach processing facility in Bagdad, Arizona. This onsite role includes overseeing various engineering projects related to mining operations and ensuring effective design and execution of mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute engineering assignments related to mining and processing facilities.
- Collaborate on civil and structural design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct estimating and budgeting for electrical systems associated with engineering projects.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and project management in mining or heavy industrial settings.
- Strong background in civil and structural design, along with practical construction experience.
- Familiarity with estimating methodologies specifically targeting electrical and mechanical systems.
