Job Summary
The Plant Operator I position is part of the Facilities Maintenance job family and is located in Pico Rivera, California. This is a full-time, regular role that requires the employee to work onsite at the Getty Center. The primary focus of this position is to operate and maintain equipment, specifically steam boilers, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate low and/or high-pressure steam boilers.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on central plant equipment.
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience in operating steam boilers.
- Basic familiarity with central plant operations.
