Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in the operating room by assisting surgical teams with a variety of tasks and ensuring that the environment is sterile and prepared for procedures. They work closely with nurses and surgeons to facilitate efficient patient care and support during surgeries. This position is onsite in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Support surgical teams by preparing the operating room and organizing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
- Label and assess patient needs, providing accurate support to medical professionals.
- Collaborate effectively with patient care providers and patients to ensure overall safety and comfort.
- Participate in the recruitment process for new surgical staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program or Certification as a Surgical Tech II.
- Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Experience in a surgical or operating room environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team and demonstrate strong communication skills.
