Job Summary
We are conducting a search for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Miami, Florida office. This role involves overseeing the design and analysis of building structures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, as well as managing construction and operating permits. The Senior Structural Engineer will play a key part in delivering high-quality engineering solutions and will collaborate closely with various stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural design projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and local building codes.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of construction and operating permits.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of principles and practices related to structural engineering.
- Extensive experience in design/build processes and project management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
