Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing the movement of materials by handling the receipt, inspection, and storage of components, while also managing the shipping of completed automation equipment. This role is vital in maintaining inventory accuracy and upholding a safe, well-organized warehouse, supporting both manufacturing and engineering teams in their operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Stock components effectively within the warehouse.
- Coordinate the outbound shipping of finished automation equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Support manufacturing and engineering teams as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Competence in operating material handling equipment safely.
