The position of Senior Systems Engineer at AMERICAN SYSTEMS is designed for seasoned professionals who will contribute to our mission as a federal government contractor. Located in Bethesda, Maryland, this role involves onsite responsibilities that support national interests in various domains including Information Technology, Engineering & Analysis, and Test & Evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and evaluation of systems engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in systems engineering best practices.
- Participate in testing and evaluation processes to validate system performance.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a PhD along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven technical skills within systems engineering disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with federal government contracting processes is advantageous.
