Job Summary
The position of Senior Accountant is located in Yakima, Washington, and requires an onsite work arrangement. This role involves carrying out sophisticated accounting functions and overseeing financial reporting within the University. The Senior Accountant acts as a vital accounting resource for the Controller and is integral in ensuring compliance with the University’s policies and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Manage and perform advanced financial reporting and accounting tasks.
- Act as a resource for the Controller, providing necessary support and guidance.
- Conduct reviews of financial documents and reports.
- Respond to requests from auditors and ensure all queries are adequately addressed.
- Ensure alignment with University policies and procedures relating to financial matters.
- Utilize internal controls to strengthen financial reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
