Responsibilities
- Room patients and gather essential medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs of patients.
- Provide assistance to healthcare providers during examinations.
- Carry out procedures including phlebotomy and immunizations.
- Conduct point-of-care testing as required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is mandatory.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program coupled with a clinical externship or equivalent clinical experience is necessary.
- A current BLS-C certification must be obtained upon hiring or within the orientation period.
