Responsibilities
- Setup and operate finishing machinery according to customer specifications.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Handle work-in-progress materials using pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Complete necessary job paperwork and report on productivity and defects.
- Adhere to production schedules.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and team members.
- Maintain equipment and the cleanliness of the work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow written job instructions.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift weights of up to 70 pounds on occasion.
- Effective communication skills.
- Prior experience with machine operation and finishing equipment is preferred.
