Job Summary
The role involves establishing the propulsion framework for products designed for space utilization, as well as spearheading the decision-making process regarding whether to build, acquire, or partner for resources. You will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of propulsion systems, which includes design, production, testing, and validation, while also managing budgets related to propellants and mission longevity requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define the propulsion structure for space products.
- Lead decision-making on building, acquiring, or partnering for propulsion resources.
- Oversee the design, manufacturing, testing, and qualification of propulsion systems.
- Manage propellant budgets and ensure mission-life requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- More than 10 years of experience in in-space propulsion flight hardware.
- Accountability for technical outputs, adherence to schedules, and budget management.
- Hands-on experience in qualifying propulsion systems.
