Job Summary
We are in search of meticulous Surgical Technologists to become integral members of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. This role is pivotal in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the efficient workflow of surgical procedures. Your contributions will greatly support high-quality patient care during various surgical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Support the surgical team by preparing the operating room and surgical instruments.
- Help position patients comfortably and securely before and during surgery.
- Manage sharps and other tools to ensure safety and efficiency in the OR.
- Contribute to the overall workflow and organization of the surgical environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail in order to maintain sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure within a surgical team.
- Excellent communication skills to support patient care and collaboration.
