Job Summary
A leading healthcare organization, part of Allina Health, is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its established team in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) department in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. This role is focused on the assessment and management of patients with concussions, providing essential medical care within an onsite setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with concussion-related issues.
- Order and interpret various medical diagnostics in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current licensing and certification as a NP or PA in the state of Minnesota.
- Strong understanding of physical medicine and rehabilitation, particularly related to concussion management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
