Job Summary
The role of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a casual/unscheduled capacity focuses on providing essential nursing care within an eldercare setting located in Chicago, Illinois. This position involves attending to residents’ healthcare needs and supporting the overall nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring resident care is prioritized.
- Assist in supervising Nurse Aides to guarantee compliance with care standards.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate narcotic records.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes in their health status.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid nursing license as either an RN or LPN.
