The federal client is in search of a Systems Administrator located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for an onsite role. This position requires a candidate with a solid foundation in a LINUX environment and a commitment to maintaining the systems essential for operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain LINUX systems to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Oversee system configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the IT team to provide support and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with security and operational policies.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations and procedures.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience (6 years in a similar role).
- Possession of a Professional or higher-level Vendor Certification is also acceptable.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing LINUX environments.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
