Job Summary
The position of Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician is available within a not-for-profit healthcare facility situated in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role is essential in providing pivotal laboratory services across various medical domains, including primary care, women’s health, and urgent care. The opportunity is permanent, full-time, and specifically for the day shift.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with quality control procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in interpreting test results.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is required.
- A degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Previous experience in a healthcare laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in laboratory techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with medical staff and patients.
