Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist position involves providing essential support in the operating room while delivering compassionate care to patients and their families. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Facilitate patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in handling and labeling laboratory specimens for analysis.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, registered nurses, and other medical staff.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to apply sterile techniques and maintain aseptic conditions in an operating room setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with the surgical team.
- Completion of a recognized surgical technology program.
- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) is preferred.
