The Automation Controls Technician plays a key role in the creation of customized control panels and the programming of automated equipment utilizing PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. Additionally, this position involves conducting maintenance, wiring, and repair diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Applicants should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent professional experience, with a strong preference for candidates holding a four-year degree in a related discipline. Essential qualifications include robust programming expertise, a potential for leadership, and a willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
