Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services is responsible for managing resident care while ensuring adherence to established nursing standards as well as compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. This role includes the formulation of nursing policies and offering guidance, support, and mentorship to clinical personnel in order to promote effective nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and enhance the quality of resident care.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and legal regulations.
- Develop and implement nursing policies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession or eligibility for an Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment is essential.
