Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) plays a vital role within the Resource Pool, delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This full-time position is based in Brandon, Florida, and requires the RN to provide expert care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with diverse healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the OR, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff to facilitate smooth operations.
- Educate patients and their families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
