Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room plays a crucial role in the surgical team by providing assistance during operations. This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and requires individuals who are skilled in various surgical procedures and have a strong understanding of the operating environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and organized.
- Monitor patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Participate in decision-making related to patient care and surgical needs.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred or required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
