Job Summary
Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, located in Mint Hill, NC, is on the lookout for a dedicated Surgical Technologist. This per diem position plays a crucial role in the Family Care Unit, primarily assisting during various surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist is essential for supporting operating room (OR) teams and ensuring patient safety through the maintenance of sterile techniques and the proper functioning of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the sterile field during procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use.
- Support patient safety protocols by adhering to established sterile techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a surgical environment is preferred.
