Job Summary
The position of Travel Nurse RN – Registered Nurse First Assistant is available in South Portland, OR. This role requires a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) who will support surgical teams as a First Assistant, delivering comprehensive patient care during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations by providing necessary support and facilitating smooth workflows.
- Engage in direct patient care and monitor patients’ post-operative recovery.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of clinical care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with any required documentation.
- Adhere to healthcare protocols and safety standards throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse First Assistant is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts consisting of five 8-hour days per week.
