Job description
The Associate In-House Counsel is responsible for delivering legal assistance to diocesan offices, parishes, and associated entities, which includes contract drafting and supervision of real estate initiatives. This position also oversees the diocesan Safe Environment Program, ensuring adherence to both civil regulations and canon law. Applicants should hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be authorized to practice law in Texas. A preference will be given to candidates with around five years of experience and a solid comprehension of Catholic Church teachings and canon law.
