**Ophthalmic Technician**
The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for conducting initial patient assessments, gathering medical histories, and performing diagnostic tests to support ophthalmologists. This role also involves the upkeep of clinical instruments, the preparation of sterile trays for minor surgical procedures, and ensuring precise documentation within the electronic medical records (EMR) system. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. While one year of experience in ophthalmology and certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) are desirable, they are not mandatory.
