Job Summary
The EHS Family Advocate/Home Visitor Teacher plays a vital role in enhancing the development and well-being of families with young children. This position involves engaging with families, providing support, and facilitating educational opportunities to promote healthy growth and learning.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with families to assess their needs and provide necessary resources and support.
- Conduct home visits to create a trusting relationship with families and monitor child development.
- Facilitate educational sessions and workshops that empower parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with community resources to connect families with additional support services.
- Maintain accurate records regarding family interactions and child progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Previous experience in early childhood education, family support, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with community resources and support systems for families.
