Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time onsite Construction Manager specializing in Mechanical Engineering to offer Owner’s Representation services in Gainesville, Florida. This role is focused on overseeing projects that involve duct banks and the integration of supporting systems such as electrical, HVAC, emergency power, and fire protection.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction operations and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the owner and the project team, facilitating communication and addressing any issues that arise.
- Evaluate project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Manage the coordination of mechanical systems installations and provide technical guidance to contractors.
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed on all job sites.
Qualifications
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of related construction management experience is required.
- Proven expertise in mechanical systems, particularly in relation to construction practices and standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
