Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are organized and sterilized.
- Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs during procedures and providing necessary instruments and materials in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Utilize a thorough understanding of patient procedures and positioning to contribute effectively to the surgical plan of care.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant training in surgical technology.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
- Experience in an operating room setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
