Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts. This role includes assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing supportive services, ensuring that patients’ needs are met efficiently and compassionately.
Responsibilities
- Assist nurses in the delivery of patient care by performing routine clinical tasks.
- Support patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families while providing emotional support.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of a nursing assistant training program.
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) or relevant licensure.
- Experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring disposition towards patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment under limited supervision.
