The Registered Nurse is tasked with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients within an inpatient medical and surgical setting. This role involves delivering care mainly to an adult demographic while engaging in shared governance and contributing to unit decision-making processes. Candidates are required to have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and possess a valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license. Furthermore, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment, and non-BSN registered nurses are expected to enroll in a BSN program within 15 months of their start date.
