Job Summary
The OR Equipment Technician I plays a crucial role in supporting the patient care team by ensuring that medical equipment is properly maintained and adequately prepared for use, contributing to effective room turnover in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients and specimens as needed.
- Manage and track the inventory of medical equipment.
- Assist nursing staff during various surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated strong manual dexterity and basic mathematical skills.
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
