Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Day Shift position specializing in Medical/Surgical care, for a contract role based in Cleveland, OH. This assignment is set to last for 13 weeks, offering a dedicated opportunity for skilled nursing professionals.
Responsibilities
- The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical environment.
- Collaboration with medical staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of patient discharge and follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Verification of RN License/Certificate.
- Compliance with immunization requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza Vaccine.
- Completion of a Fit Test.
- Submission of a physical/health statement.
- Completion of UHS-specific forms including I-9 Attestation, Ohio Fingerprints, and Employment Verification.
- Provision of a Driver’s License or State ID.
- Current 2 Step Tuberculosis PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Pass UHS criminal background check and drug screen.
- Completion of UHS core competencies, skills checklist, competency exam, and module completion certificate.
- Submittal of a badge photo and prior employment form.
- Successful completion of a UHS criminal background check and OIG searches.
