Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified SDU RN (RN Step Down) for a contract position located in Cleveland, OH. This assignment is set to last for a duration of 13 weeks, starting on December 7, 2026, and culminating on March 7, 2027. The working hours for this role will be from 19:00 to 07:30.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in a step-down unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Verification of license and certifications.
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
- Completion of fit testing and PPD or IGRA tests.
- NIHSS certification.
- Completion of various UHS requirements including I-9 Attestation, Background Checks, and Drug Screening.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Submission of necessary documentation as part of the onboarding process.
