Job description
**Job Title: Advocate Specialist**
The Advocate Specialist serves to support and advocate for individuals undergoing psychiatric evaluations within the mental health crisis unit of the hospital. This role involves delivering clear and honest feedback to patients, while upholding the various protocols of the hospital. Ideal candidates are required to have at least a High School Diploma or GED, along with a valid New Jersey Driver’s License. Applicants should have personal experience with mental health challenges or substance use disorders, and must exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
