Job Summary
The role of the Coordinator involves executing the Navy Afloat Maintenance Training Strategy (NAMTS) program and offering practical instruction to Sailors in the areas of precision machining and the repair of shipboard components. This position is integral to ensuring that maintenance practices meet the standards set by NAVSEA.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Navy Afloat Maintenance Training Strategy (NAMTS) program.
- Deliver practical training to Sailors focusing on precision machining and shipboard component repair.
- Assess the progress of candidates participating in the program.
- Maintain and manage qualification records for trainees.
- Ensure adherence to NAVSEA requirements in all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Navy maintenance and inside machining.
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent educational background.
- An active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in both conventional and CNC machining techniques.
