The Anesthesia Technician plays a crucial role in guaranteeing that anesthesia supplies and equipment are available and well-maintained. This position emphasizes compliance with sterile techniques and the rigorous application of infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure the availability of anesthesia supplies and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to sterile technique and infection control guidelines.
- Stock specialty carts with necessary items for procedures.
- Perform cleaning and upkeep of medical equipment.
- Assist in the training process for new staff members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
- Preferably, one year of experience in a healthcare-related field.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
