Overview of the Application Solutions Engineer Role:
As an Application Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing the Firm’s enterprise applications, with a key emphasis on creating and managing business intake and workflow solutions using Intapp Open. This position involves designing workflows, integrating various systems, resolving technical issues, and working closely with internal teams to optimize firmwide operations. Additionally, you will assist with a variety of application platforms as part of the Applications Development team.
Primary Responsibilities of the Application Solutions Engineer:
- Design, develop, and sustain workflows, forms, and business rules within Intapp Open, focusing on areas such as Intake, Conflicts, and Terms.
- Conduct troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support for Intapp solutions.
- Facilitate integrations between Intapp and financial systems (for instance, Aderant), Active Directory, and internal databases.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, custom components, and overall system design.
- Engage in testing, deployment, and support following implementation.
- Keep abreast of updates and best practices related to Intapp.
- Assist with other enterprise applications and cross-platform integrations when required.
- Drive improvements in processes, automation, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills for the Application Solutions Engineer:
- Extensive experience with Intapp Open (5+ years) and Intapp Integration Builder (IIB).
- Expertise in XML, SQL, PowerShell, and API integrations (both REST and SOAP).
- Familiarity with Boomi or similar integration platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of workflow automation alongside law firm onboarding and compliance procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
