Job description
Job Summary
The Workday Implementation Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful deployment of Workday solutions. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring all project deliverables align with client expectations and are met within agreed timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Workday implementation projects from initiation to closure.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and set project objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
- Identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members and other involved parties.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables meets established standards and client needs.
- Support end-user training and adoption initiatives post-implementation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing Workday implementation projects or similar software projects.
- Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
- Knowledge of Workday functionalities and best practices is preferred.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
