The Armed Security Officer is responsible for overseeing security matters and addressing any potential threats, in addition to carrying out investigations and recording incidents. This role includes conducting patrols, regulating traffic, and providing assistance to staff and visitors to foster a secure atmosphere. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and are required to acquire Florida Class D and G security licenses within 90 days of employment. A high school diploma or at least one year of pertinent experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding BLS certification.
