Assembly Associate

The Assembly Associate plays a crucial role in carrying out electro-mechanical assembly functions within a manufacturing setting. This position necessitates proficiency in interpreting blueprints, bills of materials, and calibration specifications, alongside the mechanical skills required to build and test products, guided by Assembly Leads. The perfect candidate will be reliable, flexible, and open to learning different product lines. Maintaining consistent attendance, producing quality work, and keeping a steady work pace are fundamental aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct various electro-mechanical products by following blueprints, bills of materials, and calibration instructions.
  • Participate in rotation across different production workstations as required.
  • Adhere to high standards regarding attendance, quality, and productivity.
  • Carry out light material-handling duties as necessary.
  • Comply with plant safety protocols and recognize potential safety issues.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an electro-mechanical assembly or production role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Competency in soldering, reading blueprints, and comprehending test/calibration specifications.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including engineering, warehouse, and quality assurance.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs. with assistance.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and adaptability in a growing organization.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills are strongly preferred.
