**Job Title: Director of Risk Management and Legal Compliance**
This position entails offering strategic direction in both risk management and legal compliance, in addition to assisting with the core legal functions of the Office of the General Counsel. Key responsibilities encompass supervising institutional compliance, handling enterprise risk, and providing guidance on policies, contracts, and insurance matters. Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and be admitted to the state bar, ideally within New York. A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal, risk management, or compliance fields is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have experience in higher education settings.
