Job Summary
The role involves the independent management of intricate insurance defense litigation cases from the beginning stages through to their conclusion. This includes responsibilities such as participating in court appearances, conducting depositions, and representing clients during trials. Additionally, the position encompasses providing guidance and support to junior attorneys while building robust relationships with both current and prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex insurance defense litigation from initiation to resolution.
- Engage in court appearances and lead depositions.
- Represent clients during trial proceedings.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced attorneys.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited institution.
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- Minimum of 8 years of substantial insurance defense litigation experience.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
