Job description
**Job Title: Assistant Cook**
The Assistant Cook plays a vital role in the preparation of both hot and cold meals for students, faculty, and patients within a cafeteria or institutional environment. This position involves the safe operation of kitchen equipment and may require stepping in for the Cook during their absence. Applicants should possess a valid certificate in Food Service Administration or have a minimum of one year of full-time paid experience in large-scale food preparation. Additionally, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and receive employment clearance from the State Education Department.
