Job Summary
The Behavior Technician will be responsible for supporting individuals with developmental concerns, implementing behavior intervention plans under the direction of board-certified behavior analysts. This role requires working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals through targeted therapeutic strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising behavior analyst.
- Collect and document data on client progress and responses to interventions.
- Provide support and training to clients and their families on coping and behavior management strategies.
- Maintain communication with the behavior analyst and team to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in working with individuals with autism or other developmental disorders is preferred.
- Training in ABA techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
