Job description
The Assistant Cook plays a crucial role in preparing both hot and cold meals for students, staff, and patients in various institutional environments. This position involves operating kitchen machinery, adhering to safety protocols, and potentially stepping in for the Cook when needed. Applicants are required to possess either a valid certificate in Food Service Administration or have at least one year of hands-on experience in large-scale food preparation. Furthermore, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and receive employment clearance from the State Education Department.
