Job description
**Job Title: Assistant Cook**
The Assistant Cook plays a vital role in preparing both hot and cold dishes for students and staff while ensuring the safe operation of kitchen machinery. This position includes stepping in for the Cook during their absence and may involve delegating responsibilities to fellow food service team members. Candidates should possess either a valid certificate in Food Service Administration or have one year of paid full-time experience in large-scale food preparation. Furthermore, applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and receive employment clearance from the State Education Department.
