Job description
The Assistant Marine Account Specialist acts as the central liaison for a specific client portfolio, fostering relationships and addressing questions from both carriers and the sales team. Key responsibilities include assessing marine risks, developing specifications for renewals or new business, and negotiating competitive rates. Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management within a brokerage or captive agency, along with a valid Property & Casualty insurance license. A solid understanding of marine insurance products, regulatory standards, and underwriting processes is essential, in addition to possessing strong communication and organizational abilities.
