Job Summary
The Assisted Living Manager is responsible for delivering hands-on resident care, managing medication administration, and keeping precise health documentation while creating a welcoming home-like atmosphere for residents. This role also entails organizing staff schedules, onboarding new team members, and ensuring adherence to facility policies as well as state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents to meet their daily needs.
- Administer medications in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all residents.
- Create and sustain a warm, inviting environment for residents.
- Coordinate and oversee staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Train and mentor new employees to align with facility standards.
- Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in resident care within a senior living environment is essential.
- Must have the ability to be authorized by a Registered Nurse for administering medications.
